Role description
We are seeking experienced and flexible Disability Support Workers to fill a range of casual roles available. You will need to be able to work one to one and as part of a team in a group setting. This position is a shift work role, which includes the need to work weekends and the ability to cover leave within a 24/7 roster. The aim of the role is to provide quality support for our clients in achieving their goals. This is a casual role with the potential for permanency in the future.
The successful candidate must have:
* A current provisional or full Australian drivers licence
* A valid WWVP card with NDIS activities
* First Aid Certificate from a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation
* A strong background in providing support to individuals with complex behaviours is required.
* Must demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence in your work.
* Able to provide consistent, reliable support to clients across a range of situations.
* Be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs or environments.
* Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and possess a NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate of completion
