The Finance Business Partner – Loyalty will be the finance lead for Bunnings and Wesfarmers Data, Gen AI Loyalty project investment and a key member of Project steering committees and leadership teams. The role will proactively partner with the Data GM, Leadership Team and project teams to provide governance and oversight, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures at a project level and managing project costs. Key responsibilities include preparing financial models for key Loyalty & Data initiatives, business cases and trials to understand the impact on the 5‑year plan and ensuring reporting is in place to measure progress and success of investment. As a Finance Business Partner, you will manage key relationships between Bunnings and Wesfarmers finance and business development teams, ensuring project financials, modelling and information requests are provided accurately and timely. Responsibilities
Work cross‑functionally with Finance and Business teams to ensure relevant costs and benefits are considered in financials. Proactively seek opportunities to provide and develop value‑adding analysis to facilitate efficient and effective decision making across the department. Provide independent financial and commercial support and advice to the Data, Gen AI & Loyalty Leadership Team. Prepare financial models for all Loyalty Growth Strategies and business cases, ensuring reporting is in place to measure progress and success of growth strategies. Ensure accurate budgets are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and legal statutory requirements. Assist and contribute to the corporate planning process with project‑level forecasting and budgeting on behalf of all projects. Provide high‑quality, timely, accurate and relevant monthly and periodic information (financial, commercial and statistical) for all key stakeholders, including ad‑hoc, weekly and monthly reporting. Qualifications
Led by the Senior Finance Manager, the candidate must have a strong commercial orientation and commercial acumen, managing multiple key stakeholders internally and externally to deliver an accurate budget, forecast and corporate plan in a timely manner. Proven experience within a fast‑paced finance function, preferably in the retail industry, and excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Required Skills and Experience
A degree in commerce or business with relevant accounting and finance majors. Completion of CPA or CA. Financial management of large enterprise‑wide projects.
