We are inviting motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacists to apply for Grade 1 or Grade 2 rotational pharmacist opportunities within our Grampians Health Horsham pharmacy team. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, and suitable applicants will be considered for either grade based on experience, capability and career stage.
About This Role
This role involves the provision of high-quality, unit-based clinical and operational pharmacy services, with opportunities to undertake credentialing for Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting (PPMC) and other advanced scope of practice programs. Professional growth is supported through regular in-service education, including journal club, support for seminar and conference attendance, team-based clinical pharmacy structures, and formal education opportunities such as AdPha residency programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services (assessment, intervention, advocacy and consultation)
* Promoting and supporting effective patient flow
* Mentoring and clinical supervision of learners at all levels, including pharmacy students, interns, residents and other Grampians Health staff
* Active contribution to Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team education programs and meetings
Skills and Experience
* Currently hold, or be eligible for, general registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
* Prior clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital environment is preferred
All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
