This is a domain-heavy role: you will lead the evolution of our Enterprise platform by embedding AI into the core of the lending lifecycle. You will transform how complex credit data is processed, analysed, and settled.
About the Role
This is not a role for a generalist. To succeed here, you must have an understanding of the Australian lending landscape.
Responsibilities
* Define the AI-Lending Roadmap: Strategy for AI integration in high-impact areas like automated document verification (VOI/Financials), predictive credit scoring, and automated credit storytelling for lenders.
* Bridge Tech & Finance: Translate complex Black Box AI outputs into transparent, compliant outcomes that satisfy credit committees and regulatory requirements.
* AI Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models—from data discovery and prompt engineering to monitoring for model drift in lending decisions.
* Champion Compliance: Ensure AI deployments meet Australian Responsible Lending Obligations (RLO) and anti-discrimination standards.
Requirements
Domain Expertise
* 6+ years in Product Management, with a significant portion spent specifically in Business or Residential Lending organisation.
* Deep understanding of lending workflows: from lead capture and credit assessment to settlement and post-settlement.
* Experience with Australian financial regulations (e.g., NCCP, Privacy Act) as they relate to automated decisioning.
AI & Technical Capability
* Proven track record of deploying AI or Machine Learning features into a live production environment.
* High AI Literacy: Ability to discuss LangChain, RAG architectures, and fine-tuning with engineers while explaining the commercial Why to stakeholders.
* Proficient in using data flows and integrations within financial environments containing multiple third-party systems.
* High agency and a first principles approach to solving ambiguity.
* Mastery of tools like Linear or Jira and experience in CI/CD environments.
