The Team Based at the Launceston General Hospital and working within the Infection Prevention and Control Unit, you will be joining a team of dynamic and dedicated nursing and administration professionals with a passion for caring for their colleagues and promoting communicable disease prevention and control. The Role Provide administrative support to the Staff Health team Delivery of prompt, sensitive and confidential customer service Coordinate the administrative aspects of the Staff Health program Data entry and management of Staff Health database including reporting functions You will need High level communication skills, with proven ability to maintain confidentiality Experience with patient information management systems and databases, or ability to quickly acquire this knowledge Experience in performing clerical and administrative tasks to a high degree of accuracy Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment Permanent part time, day worker position, working 30 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $68,854 to $73,947 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025 Salary Packaging You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible.
