The Department of Premier and Cabinet seeks experienced professionals to join its pool of skilled workers.

The Administration Fixed Term and Casual Employment Register is established to provide the Department with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are available to work at short notice.

The following vacancies may arise in various locations:


Administrative Support Assistant, Band 1

Salary Range: $51,647 - $62,702 pro rata, Tasmanian State Service Award, General Stream Band 1.

This role involves providing clerical and operational assistance to contribute to the efficient and effective management of the relevant office environment. Key responsibilities include:

1. To provide administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.


Administration Assistant, Band 2

Salary Range: $64,821 - $69,764 pro rata, Tasmanian State Service Award, General Stream 2

This role involves undertaking general administrative duties, including managing records, coordinating meetings, and preparing reports. Key responsibilities include:

1. To undertake administrative tasks that support the efficient operation of the office.


Executive Assistant, Band 3

Salary Range: $72,605 - $78,481 pro rata, Tasmanian State Service Award, General Stream 3

This role involves providing high-level administrative support to senior managers and executives. Key responsibilities include:

1. To provide executive support, including managing schedules, coordinating travel, and preparing documents.


Executive Officer, Band 4

Salary Range: $80,593 - $92,764 pro rata, Tasmanian State Service Award, General Stream 4

This role involves providing high-level executive support to allocated Executive members, senior managers, and other staff members. Key responsibilities include:

1. To provide executive support and assist with the delivery of key division-wide business activities and processes.
2. To coordinate information flow within defined areas of responsibility.
