About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the full operation of a serviced apartment hotel located close special institutions and corporate precincts.
This is a senior management role requiring onsite residenceto ensure 24/7 operational oversight, guest welfare, and smooth day-to-day operations. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for leading a team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the property runs efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day and strategic operations of the hotel
• Manage and maintain institutional and corporate accommodation contracts
• Ensure compliance with service standards and contractual obligations
• Lead, roster, train, and supervise staff across reception, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Conduct daily rate setup and revenue updates across PMS and OTA platforms to maximise occupancy and yield
• Prepare budgets, forecast, and manage financial performance
• Create and manage online promotions, seasonal campaigns, and value-added packages across OTAs, corporate entities, special institutions and the hotel website.
• Develop and implement hotel marketing strategies to boost direct bookings and increase online visibility.
• Manage online reviews and guest feedback
• Liaise with OTAs and corporate partners to optimise listings, pricing, and occupancy
• Handle after-hours issues, emergencies, and guest escalations
• Maintain high standards of guest service, safety, and compliance
• Provide guests with local tourism information and arrange tours and transportation
Onsite Living Requirement
The successful candidate will be required to reside onsite to:
* Provide after-hours operational support
• Respond to emergencies and urgent guest needs
• Ensure continuous service delivery and staff supervision
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a hotel manager or senior accommodation and hospitality manager
• Experience managing serviced apartments or long-stay accommodation
• Strong background in corporate or institutional contracts (hospitals, medical centres, corporate entities)
• Reservations & PMS/OTA Systems, Revenue Management & Daily Rate Setup
• Budgeting, Financial Reporting & Cost Control
• Excellent leadership and staff management skills
• Strong financial, budgeting, and revenue management capability
• High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and make operational decisions
Qualifications
* Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a hotel manager or senior hospitality management role
