About the Role:

We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join a well-established national distribution business with operations across Australia. Based in Kewdale, this role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams.

You'll act as the first point of contact for customers, supporting them across the full order and service cycle while building strong, long-term relationships. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and taking ownership of customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
* Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and service requests accurately and efficiently.
* Log, track, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM and ERP systems.
* Provide timely updates to customers and manage expectations around order status or issues.
* Resolve customer complaints with practical solutions and follow through to completion.
* Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Maintain accurate documentation and customer data at all times.

Skills & Experience:

* 2+ years' experience in a customer service or similar administrative support role.
* Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly phone manner.
* Confident managing multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Positive, adaptable approach with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
