Job Title: Experienced Culinary Professional
The ideal candidate will oversee menu planning, ensure quality control and engage with staff on food preparation issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Estimate food and labour costs, order supplies and maintain quality standards.
* Engage with management, kitchen and waiting staff on food preparation and presentation.
* Demonstrate and advise staff on cooking procedures.
* Prepare and cook food for a commercial-sized workforce.
* Enforce hygiene regulations in commercial kitchens.
Requirements:
* AQF Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or higher qualification is essential.
* Minimum one year of relevant Australian work experience.
* Proficiency in English language.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong understanding of workplace WHS procedures.
