Nestled by the serene Copacabana Beach, Burnt Honey Bakery is a hub of artisanal excellence on the Central Coast of NSW. Our bakery is a testament to the art of traditional baking, where every loaf and pastry tells a story.
We are now looking for a passionate and skilled Artisan Baker or Pastry Chef to join our team on a part time basis.
Position: ArtisanBaker or Pastry Chef (Part Time)
Shifts: 2-4 days a week. Sunday early morning start essential + other days dependent on availability.
Your Role: In this role, you will:
* Craft high quality sourdough and other specialty breads, pastries and cakes, focusing on consistency and excellence.
* Work with a range of baking equipment, ensuring optimal operation and care.
* Uphold the highest standards of baking, reflecting our commitment to artisan methods and quality.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
* Collaborate with our team of dedicated bakers, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.
About You:
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a sourdough bakery, patisserie or commercial kitchen environment. Experience with early morning starts essential.
* Availability: Ability to consistently work set shifts with Sundays being essential.
* Reliability: Commitment to punctuality and dependability, ensuring smooth bakery operations.
* Passion for Baking: A genuine passion for artisan baking and a desire to continuously learn and grow in the craft.
* Team Player: Eagerness to be part of a team that values collaboration, skill, and dedication.
* Transport Requirements: Both a valid driver's licence and own vehicle are required for this position. No public transport available.
