About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store in Wangaratta. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves retail, leadership, and working with animals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day store operations, ensuring high standards in customer service, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
* Drive store performance to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team to deliver consistently high results.
* Monitor inventory, stock levels, and oversee ordering to ensure optimal availability.
* Manage rostering, wages, and operational budgets in line with company guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Build strong customer relationships and represent the brand within the local community.
Requirements:
We're looking for someone with proven experience in retail store management (minimum 2 years preferred). You should have strong leadership and team development skills, commercial acumen, including understanding of budgets, stock control, and wage management. Excellent customer service and communication skills are also essential. A forklift licence is desirable (or willingness to obtain).
