About the Role This is an Automation Test Engineer role, where you will be part of our strong team of testing experts across the country. You will be given the tools you need to advance your skills and experience, while adding true value to your career and our top tier client base. You will bring your coding expertise, business skills and understanding of modern cloud infrastructure along with a desire to continuously improve. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts enabling and advocating an automation first approach Design automation test frameworks Be part of team that creates tests strategies which provide ROI to clients Research, investigate, socialise and aid in the implementation of appropriate new and emerging technologies and approaches via internal innovation of our automation, quality engineering, performance and DevOps communitiies Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrate effective application of various agile project activities and techniques such as stand-ups, iteration planning and execution, Kanban card walls and retrospectives. Great utilisation of test automation frameworks such as Java/Selenium/Javascript/Playwright. Strong working experience using programming languages. You are proud of the code you write and can understand object oriented programming and design patterns. You may have good understanding of automated API testing using tools such as Rest Assured, Jmeter, Karate, SuperTest or similar. A passion for testing experience, particularly web front-end and back-end testing experience. Draft, distribute and socialise formal documents such as project reports, artefacts and knowledge base.
