Director of Education Pathways and Partnerships
The Director of Education Pathways and Partnerships is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative and strategic education pathways into the University. The role focuses on identifying and strengthening partnerships across schools, the VET sector, industry, and government to support workforce needs and broaden student access.
Operating within a complex regulatory environment, the position requires a deep understanding of the higher education sector to ensure compliance and alignment with institutional priorities. The Director provides strategic advice and collaborates across internal functions including academic Colleges, Curriculum Impact, Admissions, Marketing, and External Engagement to deliver pathway and partnership initiatives that drive student enrolment targets, equity outcomes, and graduate employability.
The Director of Education Pathways and Partnerships will:
- Provide leadership and foster a team environment that embraces collaboration across organisational boundaries to create a coherent and connected service team that represents and supports all colleges and portfolios.
- Apply extensive knowledge of non-traditional educational pathways to lead external partners and College leadership teams to negotiate and deliver appropriate pathways for prospective students into courses at Flinders.
- Maintain high quality relationships with both existing and potential educational partners including sponsored partners, facilitating relationships between senior external stakeholders and relevant areas of the University.
As Director of Education Pathways and Partnerships, you will bring deep experience in the higher education sector, with a strong understanding of educational pathways and their role in supporting student access and success. You will have a proven record of leading strategic initiatives that create lasting impact for both students and the University.
The successful candidate will demonstrate solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach. Visa and relocation support are available.
