SAP Basis / OpenText xECM Consultant
Short-Term Contract | Canberra (Preferred) | Melbourne or Sydney
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong OpenText xECM expertise to support a complex SAP environment within a high-performance delivery team. This is a short-term contract opportunity, ideally based in Canberra, with flexibility for Melbourne or Sydney candidates.
This role requires deep technical capability, hands-on delivery experience, and the ability to operate effectively in secure, enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and support SAP Extended ECM (xECM) by OpenText solutions from initial design through to go-live
* Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot the OpenText xECM solution set, including:
* Content Server
* Directory Services
* Web Services
* Archive Centre
* Administer and support OpenText environments, including:
* System monitoring and performance tuning
* Patch management and upgrades
* Security administration
* Backup and recovery procedures
* Provide technical leadership and problem resolution in complex SAP landscapes
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery outcomes

Mandatory Requirements
* Australian Citizen
* AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (current)
* Proven, hands-on experience as an OpenText xECM Consultant
* Strong experience delivering SAP Extended ECM by OpenText implementations
* Fluency in written and spoken English

Required Technical Expertise
* End-to-end implementation experience with OpenText xECM for SAP Solutions
* Hands-on configuration of the OpenText xECM solution set
* Strong knowledge of OpenText architecture and system integration
* Experience using OpenText System Center
* Demonstrated capability in performance tuning, security management, and system optimisation

* Experience delivering outcomes in complex, enterprise-scale SAP projects

* Ability to think both tactically and strategically
