Cardinal Contractors is a long-established contracting business servicing the mining, earthmoving and commercial sectors across Western Australia. We specialise in remote mine site earthworks, road construction and maintenance, and rehabilitation works – with a strong reputation for reliability, safety and quality.

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Administration Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the HR Coordinator and Office Manager, contributing to the smooth day‐to‐day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and HR Coordinator.
* Coordinate mobilisation of new employees, including organising medicals and compiling documentation.
* Schedule and manage calendar invites for service, probation, and annual performance reviews.
* Assist with safety and injury management administration as required.
* Manage and maintain heavy vehicle permits and accreditations.
* Maintain and update records within the MEX system.
* Update policies and procedures as instructed.
* Provide backup support to Accounts Payable in MYOB (training provided).
* Create and maintain HR‐related content for the online learning platform.
* Standardise and format procedures across all areas of the business.
* Manage archive control and monitor document destruction processes.
* Coordinate LinkedIn postings and external training bookings.

About You

* Proven experience in a fast‐paced administration role (civil or mining industry experience highly regarded).
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong customer‐service focus.
* Flexibility to travel to the Collie office on an ad hoc basis.
