Waterford State School is seeking a passionate team member to join our great school. The successful applicant will have a strong sense of empathy and genuine care for students that enables them to build positive and predictable relationships with students and families.
An understanding of trauma informed practices, social emotional learning and inclusive education is very beneficial to this role. Strong behaviour management through clear routines, calm classrooms and explicit teaching of expectations is essential. Professional development will be provided 'on the job' in explicit instruction, structured literacy and other signature programs.
