About the Role

A key opportunity exists for a seasoned behaviour support professional to drive meaningful change in the lives of individuals and communities. As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will form lasting relationships with participants, providing direct interventions and guidance to foster positive growth.

You will play a pivotal role in conducting comprehensive assessments, crafting individualised support plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

This is an exciting chance to contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, supporting individuals across diverse settings.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain strong rapport with clients, colleagues, and external partners
* Design and implement effective behavioural interventions in individual and group settings
* Craft high-quality Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans
* Provide targeted training and coaching to colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical best practices
* Collaborate with regional leadership to provide strategic oversight and direction to the Behaviour Support Practitioner team
* Work closely with professionals from various disciplines to design and implement tailored participant goals and checklists
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to legislative requirements
* Participate in introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour Support


Requirements:

Necessary Qualifications and Experience

* Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field related to Positive Behaviour Support
* Be an active NDIS Practitioner ID holder and have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Check, along with a Working with Children Check
* Demonstrate extensive experience in Positive Behaviour Support, with a proven track record of delivering clinical expertise, supervision, and leadership within a team
* Proven ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner, leveraging high-level verbal and written communication skills
* Effectively manage competing priorities, ensuring seamless delivery in fast-paced environments
