Homeless Healthcare is a not-for-profit charity supporting people experiencing homelessness across multiple settings in the Perth metro area. These include street outreach, residential rehab centres, in-reach into Perth Hospital, mobile clinics at transitional and crisis accommodation services and drop-in centres, and a 20-bed inpatient Medical Respite Centre (MRC).

The Support Worker plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents of the Respite Centre. The role focuses on practical daily living support, site upkeep, food service assistance, and contributing to a positive, respectful culture that supports recovery, dignity, and wellbeing for people experiencing homelessness.
This role works alongside clinical, administrative, and hospitality staff to ensure the Centre operates smoothly and residents are supported to engage in daily routines and maintain their living spaces during their stay.
Part-time/casual/ shift work available.
Essential Criteria
* Experience or interest in working in community services, homelessness, residential support, or similar settings.
* Ability to undertake cleaning, food service, and practical support tasks to a high standard.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Capacity to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to follow instructions, routines, and site procedures.
Desired Criteria
* Experience working in low-barrier or trauma-informed environments.
* Food handling or hospitality experience.
* Understanding of the impacts of homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use on daily functioning.
