Electrical Engineer Leader Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead high-profile data centre projects across the Asia-Pacific region.
About the Role
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to develop and implement innovative solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address the unique needs of data centres. The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance in power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead high-profile data centre projects, managing the design and execution of advanced electrical systems while ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry best practices.
* Strategically develop and implement innovative solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address the unique needs of data centres, ensuring optimal performance in power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving across multidisciplinary teams.
* Represent the company in client-facing engagements, offering expert advice and insights that contribute to both project success and long-term relationships.
* Drive the growth and development of the electrical engineering practice, contributing to business development, project acquisition, and shaping the strategic direction of the firm in the data centre space.
* Assume primary responsibility for the overall quality and execution of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards and delivering on time and within budget.
Requirements
* Recognised tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering within a consulting environment, with a proven track record of leadership in large-scale, complex projects; a background in health, energy, and/or data centres is advantageous.
* Strong technical expertise in the design, development, and delivery of complex electrical systems.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the strategic direction of a business.
* Expertise in industry-standard software and design tools relevant to Electrical Engineering.
