As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of asset protection and ensuring the security of people and property. This role involves observing activities on site, monitoring access control systems, and reading and understanding specific site requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining focus and vigilance in all aspects of your work;
* Ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas and utilizing computerized systems as required;
* Reading, understanding, and signing off on relevant site documentation;
* Accurately recording occurrences and completing necessary paperwork as needed;
* Providing information, directions, and support to clients and customers as required.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* A Certificate II in Security Operations or higher;
* A current Security license;
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role;
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
