Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Professional to lead and oversee the governance and risk management functions for large-scale Information Management and ICT programs.
In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director, Program Management Office, and be responsible for ensuring that program delivery aligns with government legislation and policy requirements.
This role is critical for enabling effective management and decision-making within complex program environments.
* Manage the provision of effective program governance and risk management services.
* Develop and implement strategic risk management frameworks, providing expert advice on current and emerging risks.
* Coordinate risk documentation and prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior executives.
* Lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks and reporting pathways.
* Promote a culture of risk management by coaching and supporting project teams and stakeholders.
* Represent the program at board meetings and other key governance forums.
* Establish best-practice secretariat services for program committees.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a high level of knowledge and skills in program and project risk management, preferably within a large and complex organization.
You will be skilled in both strategic risk management and organizational analysis.
A successful candidate will possess:
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks.
* Exceptional negotiation, consultation, and facilitation skills.
* A proven ability to lead and manage a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2 or MSP are highly regarded but not mandatory.
