Contract - Senior Guidewire Developer

Your new role
You'll take a senior position within a specialist Guidewire team delivering a large‑scale, multi‑phase implementation across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. Your work will span complex configuration, hands‑on GOSU development, integration with enterprise services, and performance optimisation of high‑volume transactions. You'll influence solution design, mentor mid‑level developers, and help shape best practices around Guidewire Cloud, API orchestration, and automated testing frameworks. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving hard problems and leaving systems better than they found them.
What you'll need to succeed
* Extensive experience across Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) with strong GOSU development skills
* Proven ability to design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, messaging, and event‑driven patterns
* Solid understanding of Guidewire Data Model, Product Model, and configuration best practices
* Experience working in Agile teams with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar)
* Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem‑solving capability across distributed systems
* Ability to collaborate with architects, BAs, testers, and business stakeholders while providing technical leadership
