North Coast Mechanical are looking for an experienced light vehicle mechanic to join our growing team in Coolum Beach.
Working on a variety of classic cars, 4WD, European vehicles and light trucks, you will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including scheduled servicing, general maintenance, as well as diagnosis, reporting and repair of vehicle faults and air-conditioning repairs.
We pride ourselves on working efficiently and fixing vehicles correctly the first time. No tyres and no wheel alignments, with all tyre related work outsourced to a separate supplier.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:
* Be trade qualified with relevant experience;
* Have the ability to drive manual vehicles;
* Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of vehicles;
* Have the ability to work unsupervised and work well in a team environment;
* Possess the capacity and willingness to be "hands-on" and get the job done;
* Conduct scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner;
* Have excellent organisational, communication, and reporting skills;
* Demonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principles.
* Air-conditioning license ( opportunity to upskill and supply training to successful candidate if required )
