Your expertise will enable you to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks that could impact the mission success of our customers.
About the Job
* Manage environmental programs for compliance, pollution prevention, and/or natural resource protection programs.
* Prepare and oversee SOWs and cost estimates for environmental studies, designs, and projects.
* Ensure and monitor compliance and investigate non-compliant issues.
* Establish and manage hazardous waste storage and disposal policies and practices.
* Oversee identification and validation of potential contaminated sites and develop/implement remedial action plans.
* Manage staff, budget and policies affecting specific programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* US or Australian citizenship.
* US TS/SCI Clearance w/Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in environmental science or EH&S related field.
* Minimum 5 years of EHS experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
* Certification in ASP, CSP, CIH, CEP (Preferred), or Australian equivalent.
* Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze data and statistics related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
* Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports, presenting safety training, and interacting with regulatory bodies.
* Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
