Responsibilities Defines and agrees scope, objectives, activities, milestones, and timelines to successfully deliver complex project outcomes. Adopts and adapts project management methods and tools to the needs of the project and organization. Establishes appropriate project governance. Monitors and controls schedule, resources, and budgets. Ensures risks and issues are identified, documented, and mitigated. Ensures that the size and nature of organizational impact is understood, and that plans/support are in place to ensure that changes are embedded successfully. Focus on details, e.g., prepare business teams run sheets/implementation plans for the project and track the status of each item to successful completion. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Ensures that stakeholders are identified, their needs understood, and appropriate plans are in place to obtain and maintain their support. Acts as a central point of contact for stakeholders in relation to the project or workstream, building strong, trusted relationships. Prepares Steering Committee papers and engages with Exec level/GM/Heads Of level stakeholders to articulate project status and manage delivery expectations. Risk Management: Ensures that risks are identified, understood, and documented, with effective monitoring and mitigation in place. Engages specialists/domain experts as necessary. Resource and Performance Management: Ensures resource requirements are identified and engages with resource owners to secure required resources to meet demand. Ensures that resource forecasts are updated as needed. Encourages and supports development of skills and capabilities in line with personal goals and team needs. Schedule Planning and Management: Addresses conflicting priorities within the team and ensures the team escalates issues as required. Ensures that plans are up to date in the appropriate tooling and updated regularly to reflect the latest status. Scope Control: Defines and agrees project scope and outcomes, managing scope change as necessary. Must Have Successfully delivered large, complex projects in a financial services environment, spanning business and technology, with interdependencies and competing priorities across other projects/delivery teams. Effective communication, negotiation, influencing, and facilitation skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated emotional intelligence and willingness to continuously improve both yourself and your teams. Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment. Nice to Have Tertiary qualified in business OR equivalent industry experience in the Advice/Superannuation and/or Wrap platforms, having worked across Product, Operations, Custody, Finance, Marketing teams, and/or Technology. Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid projects. Experience using the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence).
