Are you a warm, organised and genuinely caring front office professional who loves helping people feel welcomed, reassured and well looked after?
At SWC Orthodontics, incorporating Orthodontics on St Quentin in Claremont and Orthodontics on Berrigan in Jandakot, we are looking for a wonderful Front Office Receptionist to join our close-knit specialist orthodontic team.
This is a beautiful opportunity for someone who enjoys being the friendly first point of contact for patients and families, takes pride in creating a calm and positive experience, and would love to be part of a practice where kindness, excellence and teamwork truly matter.
About the Role
As a valued member of our front office team, you will play an essential role in helping each patient feel comfortable, informed and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
Your role will include:
* Greeting patients and families with warmth, professionalism and genuine care.
* Responding to enquiries by phone, email and in person with kindness, clarity and confidence.
* Scheduling appointments and helping patients navigate their orthodontic journey.
* Processing payments and supporting daily front office administration.
* Working closely with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure each day runs smoothly.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the wonderful benefit of no late nights and no weekend work.
The role is shared across our Jandakot and Claremont practices on a fortnightly roster. Although we work from two beautiful locations, we are very much one united team, supporting one another and caring for our patients with a shared sense of purpose.
About Us
SWC Orthodontics is a leading specialist orthodontic practice, proudly established for over 15 years.
Across our two practices, we are committed to providing exceptional orthodontic care in an environment that feels welcoming, professional and uplifting. We care deeply about the experience of every patient and family who entrusts us with their smile.
Our team combines clinical excellence with warmth, precision and innovation. We utilise advanced orthodontic technology and well‐developed systems to support outstanding patient outcomes and a smooth, efficient experience for both patients and team members.
Most importantly, we believe that the heart of great orthodontic care lies in relationships and the trust we build with our patients, the support we offer their families, the collaboration we share with our referring practitioners, and the kindness we show one another as a team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is friendly, thoughtful, reliable and beautifully organised. You may be the right fit for our team if you naturally enjoy helping others, take pride in doing things well, and bring a calm, positive presence to the workplace.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A warm and professional manner.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* The ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks thoughtfully.
* A polished presentation and genuine pride in their role.
* A strong work ethic and a team‐focused attitude.
* At least two years' experience in a dental reception or dental front office role.
Orthodontic experience is welcomed, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding the right person; someone kind, capable, eager to learn and committed to providing a beautiful patient experience.
Essential Requirements
* A current driver's licence and access to a car.
* A National Police Clearance issued within the last three months.
* A current Working with Children Check.
* Permanent residency or a visa with unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Benefits and Perks
This role offers the chance to join a respected, progressive and genuinely supportive specialist orthodontic practice where your contribution will be noticed, appreciated and valued.
You will enjoy:
* An excellent hourly rate, aligned with experience and performance.
* Supportive on‐job training.
* Regular feedback, reviews and encouragement.
* Well‐developed systems, protocols and workflows.
* A clear pathway for professional growth and career progression.
* Family‐friendly hours, with no late nights and no weekend work.
* The opportunity to be part of a kind, capable and caring specialist orthodontic team.
