We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an HR Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate advice to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and processes.
The HR Officer will also maintain HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and compliance with APS policies and legislation.
In addition, the role involves preparing reports, briefing material and correspondence, as well as undertaking general administrative duties to support the effective operation of the People branch.
Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
 * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
 * Sound written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and provide customer-focused service.
 * Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy and guidelines in a practical workplace context.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (e.g. Aurion, SAP or similar).
