Job Description
Based onsite in Yatala, you'll work directly with the principal contractor within our Commercial team, liaising with both on-site subcontractors and international suppliers to ensure all contractual obligations are met and project milestones are achieved.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with procurement to manage contract documentation and handovers post-tender
* Maintain detailed contracts registers and records
* Build strong relationships with subcontractors and foster a collaborative project environment
* Monitor and ensure compliance with all contract terms and deliverables
* Monitor all correspondence in the document control system, following up with the various team members responsible for responses to ensure contract timeframes are maintained
* Prepare Contracts Administration Plans and ensure all legislative and commercial requirements are understood and followed
* Manage contract variations, timelines, and payment claims under the Security of Payment Act (SOPA)
* Support project engineers and managers in commercial matters, including SAP transactions and vendor management
* Attend and contribute to project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Business/Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying or similar
Skills and Experience
Experience as a Contracts Administrator on complex, multidisciplinary projects
Strong understanding of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA)
