We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable senior Concreter to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform a range of concreting tasks including forming, pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete for various projects (driveways, slabs, footpaths, etc.).
* Independently Interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure work meets required standards.
* Manage the preparation of surfaces and install formwork, reinforcement, and other materials.
* Operate hand and power tools, as well as heavy equipment related to concreting.
* Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
* Collaborate with team members, including landscape and construction crews, to meet project timelines.
* Perform site clean-ups and maintain equipment as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Concreter or in a similar role.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven concreting experience required.
* Strong knowledge of concreting techniques and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
* Familiarity with formwork and reinforcement installation.
* Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
* Moderate fitness level required to perform physical tasks effectively.
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
Desirable
* Experience and ability with all forms of decorative concreting, steps, footings, slabs (e.g., exposed aggregate, stamped concrete).
* White Card, Silica Card and Asbestos Card.
