This position will be an integral part of the team at Riverside Café. The Café looks outward to its customers and inwards to its staff and volunteers with the primary aim of creating a place where the message of Jesus is lived and experienced by all.
We are currently seeking two values-driven and proactive Café Team members to join our Riversdale Café Team.
You will successfully
- Work with café management to develop menu and café specials
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks and beverages for the Café
- Manage the cash register and float at the end of each day
- Assist with stock management
- Clean the kitchen and pantry area to required standards
- Prepare meals for ER based on donations and set recipes
- Prepare meals for church related activities as required
These are casual (10 or 15 hours per week) positions located at Gawler Corps, East Gawler.
You will have
- High level of interpersonal skills including the capacity to communicate with and relate to a wide range of individuals and organisations
- Café or Restaurant experience would be well regarded
- A current and valid SA Employee Working with Children Check
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
