Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and sparkling blue lagoons, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast offers over 295 guest rooms and suites, award winning restaurants and bars and over 14 conference and meeting spaces, all in an absolute beachfront environment.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer who is experienced in revenue audit, accounts payable and payroll. Previous experience in the hotel industry is an advantage and would be highly desirable.

**Requirements**:

- You must possess the drive to continuously improve process and continuously seek personal development and embrace the opportunity to learn.
- Daily tasks will include but are not limited to Accounts Payable and Revenue Audit. Prior experience in the hotel industry coupled with high attention to detail, an understanding of accounting concepts and the ability to work unsupervised is essential.
- Applicants must have full Australian working eligibility.
- Must be fully vaccinated - Covid19

**Your duties will include**:

- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
- Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.

**Skills & Experience**:
Your skills and experience will include:

- Competent with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and software packages
- Competent with OPERA Software or similar PMS advantageous
- Passion for delivering energetic customer service
- Positive attitude and an electric personality
- Articulate and confident
- Passionate about a career in hospitality
