Recovery Nurse Position

We are seeking skilled Recovery Nurses to join our Theatres Department. As a key member of the recovery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients during their post-operative recovery.

The Recovery Nurse will work closely with the Nursing Unit Manager, Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team, and Shift Leaders to ensure high-quality patient care is delivered in line with the Hospital's care values and strategic direction.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional care for patients in the recovery room, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing any pain or discomfort.
2. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care for patients.
3. Document patient information, including vital signs, medications, and other important data.
4. Deliver outstanding patient and family education and support.
5. Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* R RN - Registered Nurse qualification and registration with AHPRA.
* A minimum two (2) years' perioperative experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive service.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus.
* Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
