About This Role
Your new role:
As a Senior Psychologist within the Chronic Disease Bayside team, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to adults living with complex chronic disease, while contributing to service development, supervision and quality improvement initiatives.
* Manage a clinical caseload providing assessment, brief intervention, and evaluation within a multidisciplinary chronic disease team.
* Deliver health-oriented psychological care across community, outpatient, inpatient, home and telehealth settings, with a strong focus on hospital avoidance and continuity of care.
* Provide supervision, clinical guidance and training to HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
* Contribute to service improvement, research, outcome monitoring and the development of evidence-based clinical practices and protocols.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Psychologist who demonstrates clinical excellence, strong professional judgement and a commitment to person-centred care within complex healthcare environments.
* Demonstrated expertise in delivering psychological services to consumers living with chronic disease in community or health settings.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and provide high-level clinical advice.
* Proven ability to prioritise workload demands, apply autonomous clinical decision-making and deliver timely assessment, intervention and discharge planning.
* Experience or capability in supervision, service development, and initiating or evaluating quality improvement activities.
