Infusion Specialist – Job Description
Use your ICU or critical care experience to set up infusion pumps, build drug libraries, and support safe medication delivery in hospitals.
Day-to-Day
You will combine clinical expertise with hands‐on implementation and education.
You Will
* Support the setup and configuration of BD infusion systems, including drug library builds and validation.
* Work with clinical teams to ensure devices are ready for safe and effective use.
* Deliver clinical education, training sessions, and in‐service support.
* Support product implementations, evaluations, and go‐lives across hospital sites.
* Partner with pharmacy and clinical stakeholders on medication safety and infusion practices.
* Provide technical and clinical support to customers post‐implementation.
* Support sales and clinical teams through joint customer engagement.
* Contribute to achieving territory targets through strong clinical support and customer adoption.
* Capture insights on clinical practice, customer feedback, and product performance.
* Maintain accurate records of activity and training within CRM systems.
About You
You are clinically confident, detail‐driven, and comfortable working closely with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
You Will Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within ICU, CCU, or acute care.
* Strong understanding of infusion practices, medication delivery, and patient safety.
* Experience delivering education, training, or clinical support.
* High attention to detail, particularly when working with drug protocols and dosing.
* Confidence engaging clinicians, pharmacy, and technical stakeholders.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different sites.
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset.
Experience working with infusion devices, smart pumps, or drug libraries is highly regarded, but not essential.
