About this Role
You will lead a team of 4-7 accountants and be directly responsible for circa $1.25 - $2m in annual fees. This role is primarily managerial, with a focus on staff management and client engagement, rather than hands-on accounting work.
Your client interaction will involve high-level commercial and business advisory services.
Skills and Experience
The firm values an informal yet respectful communication style, fostering a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. You will enjoy extensive interaction both in person and via phone.
They seek a candidate with excellent skills and a positive outlook, including:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a public practice environment
* CA/CPA/IPA qualification or working towards it
* Experience in compliance and tax
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation
* Ability to prioritize and see tasks through to completion
* Initiative and autonomous decision-making skills
* A passion for delivering exceptional client service
* Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
The office is situated in a tranquil area close to cafes, restaurants, markets, a lakeside boardwalk, and a gym. The workspace is modern, spacious, and offers expansive views of the Gold Coast.
Remuneration and benefits include:
* 5 weeks annual leave after 3 years of service
* $4000 annual training/personal development allowance
