Customer Service Officer | Community Bank Forrestfield | WA
We’re hiring for a permanent, full-time Customer Service Officer in our Community Bank Forrestfield location.
Overview
Your role puts you in the driver’s seat of our service delivery, helping customers achieve their banking goals. You’ll assist with transactions, educate customers about online platforms, and recommend products and services that suit their needs.
Responsibilities
- Explore customers’ needs through in-depth conversations and partner with different specialists within the branch to help them achieve financial goals
- Support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as products and services evolve
- Be the face of the branch, handling transactions, cash, queries, and paperwork while keeping risk considerations in mind
- Engage in on-the-job training and external development opportunities to advance your career
- Build connections by supporting customers and communities
What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience in a customer service environment with the ability to achieve targets
- Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset
- Confidence to communicate with customers face to face and over the phone
- Ability to understand and communicate what makes our bank different
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with others
- Experience in banking and finance is a plus but not essential
