We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Cairns, QLD.
This role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering tailored, evidence-based treatment plans. You will also provide individual and group rehabilitation sessions across clinical and gym settings, manage a varied caseload including DVA, NDIS, Workcover, Medicare, and private clients, and prepare clinical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to deliver services in-person and via telehealth, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care, and participate in structured professional development and mentoring programs.
About Your Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
* Deliver individual and group rehabilitation sessions in various settings
* Manage a diverse client base, including those covered by government programs and private insurance
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders
* Provide services through in-person and telehealth channels
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
About Your Qualifications:
* Degree in Exercise Physiology with current ESSA accreditation (AEP)
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Current Police Check and professional insurance
* Access to reliable transportation and valid Driver's license
* Ability to work early shifts to accommodate client needs
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
