About the Role
Beach Suites has an exciting role available for a Guest Services / Reservations Agent.
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and professional individual to be the welcoming face of our hotel. Your main focus will be creating a positive first and last impression for our guests. If this sounds like you, please read below for more info
What your day will look like
* Support your guest services team with general operational tasks
* You will look after all hotel reservations & enquiries, via phone & email
* Processing payments and balancing end of day banking
* Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests, Check-in & Check-out of all guests
* Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, have a sense of the local knowledge to exceed traveller expectations
* Efficiently work with other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations
* Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new travellers to enable future bookings
* Complete daily shift checklist and tasks efficiently in a timely manner
What We're Looking For
* Experience with Room Master V2 (Reservations Software), preferred but not necessary - full training provided.
* Previous reception, front desk or customer service experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tech Savvy
* Ability to work independently & within a team environment
* Ability to handle issues in calm manner - Think outside the box
* Advanced communication skills
* Well organised, with excellent attention to detail & time management
* Be motivated and responsible & have a friendly & outgoing personality
* Availability to work weekends / public holidays on a rotating roster both AM & PM-Approximately 20-25hours per week

* Adherence to company policies, able to follow our well-established policies and procedures across the departments
* Flexibility with rostering,must be willing to work weekends, including public holidays and school holidays
