About the Opportunity

Are you a self-motivated sales professional with a commercial mentality? We are seeking a dynamic Customer Development Manager to join our team and drive organic growth through B2B sales. In this role, you will be responsible for targeting new commercial contracts while also identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within our existing customer base.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be the face of our commercial services, working to maximize business profitability and meet ambitious net portfolio gain targets.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on driving effective sales results through a high-activity mode.

Key duties include:

* Sales Execution: Meet weekly targets for face-to-face customer visits, quotes submitted, and new contract wins.
* Strategic Growth: Drive the delivery of innovative "SMART" technology solutions to new and existing customers.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong and durable sales pipeline and provide accurate, timely weekly activity reporting.
* Portfolio Retention: Utilize client visitation tools to identify upselling opportunities and ensure the continued retention of current customers.
* Industry Knowledge: Maintain a current understanding of the pest control and hygiene industry, including competitor activity and new market opportunities.
* Compliance & Safety: Conduct all sales activities in a safe, ethical manner in compliance with Quality, Environment, and OHS Management Systems.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a high-performer who excels in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Essential Requirements:

* Proven Sales Experience: Strong understanding of the full sales process, including cold calling, converting, closing, and follow-up.
* Results-Driven: A demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales budgets and deadlines.
* Communication: Strong oral, written, and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Soft Skills: Excellent client liaison, time management, and planning skills.
* Financial Literacy: A basic understanding of financial and budget processes.

Desirable Skills:

* Relevant qualifications in Business or Sales Management.
* Prior experience or understanding of the Hygiene and Pest Control industry.
* Familiarity with Quality Standards (ISO 9001).
