An enterprise software provider is seeking an experienced Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of Local Government customers across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This role focuses on expanding revenue within an established customer base rather than chasing high volumes of new logos. The platform is already widely adopted by councils. The opportunity is to deepen relationships, identify additional capability needs and grow long term commercial partnerships.
The role carries a revenue target of approximately $2M, largely driven through renewals, module expansion and cross sell opportunities within existing accounts.

The opportunity
You will take ownership of a defined portfolio of Local Government accounts and lead the commercial relationship across those organisations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing enterprise accounts across SA and NT councils
* Developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders across councils and government teams
* Identifying opportunities to expand adoption of software modules and services
* Leading renewals, contract expansion and commercial negotiations
* Building structured account plans aligned to revenue and customer outcomes
* Working closely with presales, delivery and bid teams to support customer programmes
* Navigating complex public sector stakeholder environments
This is a relationship led enterprise sales role with long term account ownership and clear revenue responsibility.
What we are looking for
You will likely bring experience managing complex enterprise software customers and growing revenue within established accounts.
Experience may include:
* Enterprise SaaS or software sales experience
* Track record managing and expanding enterprise customer accounts
* Strong stakeholder engagement across complex organisations
* Experience managing full sales cycles including negotiation and deal closure
* Ability to operate within structured enterprise sales environments
