About the RoleThe Office Manager works collaboratively with staff of Victim Assist, providing advice and administrative support within the areas of corporate governance, financial services, human resources and office management.This position reports to the Director and is not supported by an administration/business team. This position requires applicants to be autonomous and be able to work independently.Applicants are advised that the work of Victim Assist will expose employees to material including distressing and offensive content. It is likely that employees will be required to engage with persons who have experienced distressing circumstances and/or are involved with the justice system. - Work in a team environment with respect to the collection, analysis, completion and reporting of corporate governance information. Including the areas of business and strategic planning, reporting, complaints management, risk and disaster management, and fraud control. Manage the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of financial services within Victim Assist to ensure the efficient operation of Victim Assist. Including the areas of financial processes, procurement, budgets, travel, and the Department's financial systems. Provide high level secretarial support to key projects and programs within Victim Assist. Develop and maintain positive work relationships within Victim Assist, stakeholders and external agencies through the use of effective communication skills. Provide high level secretarial support to the Director and the general running of the office. Act as the Victim Assist Queensland Privacy and Right to Information Contact Officer. Manage Victim Assist's resources and related policies, processes and systems.
