The Role
Senior Occupational Therapist
Are you ready to lead and inspire a passionate therapy team while delivering high-impact services to people with disability across Greater Western Sydney? We're seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide person-centred, strengths-based support that helps individuals achieve their NDIS goals. In this leadership role, you'll guide a multidisciplinary team, deliver both individual and group interventions, and collaborate closely with families, carers, and other professionals. Services are delivered across day programs, home settings, and clinics, with a focus on wellbeing, access, and social participation.

Key Requirements
* Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for membership in professional association
* Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability with complex needs, incorporating specialised and complex intervention strategies
* Demonstrated high level communication and negotiation skills
* Experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to other allied health staff and students,
* Experience of NDIS implementation, reviews and requirements
Some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
* Assess participant needs and develop, implement, monitor and review NDIS plans for each participant to ensure the participant's assessed needs are being met.
* Manage a caseload of people with a disability and their families or carers, who present with a variety of needs. This includes assessment, intervention planning, program development and equipment presciption.
* Support the philosophy of person-centred practice and engage in collaborative, holistic goal setting that reflects the individual's needs and priorities.
* Ensure that organisational benchmark's are met in accordance to customer expectations and participant caseload allocation.
* Act as a specialist resource to management on all matters pertaining to the provision of Occupational Therapy services within The Junction Works.
* Ensure service delivery models are based on current evidence based practice, and are delivered within resources
