About the Role
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join the team on a Full-time basis as our Geotechnical Support Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with solid administration skills wanting to be part of a great and flexible work environment.
Duties include:
Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate job schedules, source start-up information, and handle staff travel arrangements
Project Support: Assist in preparing project authority/applications, figures for reports, and presentations
Answering incoming calls & e-mails
Administration: Assist with invoicing, follow up on aged receivables
Office & Staff Management: Ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of Geotech Team, including arranging vehicle repairs, managing staff training, and ensuring trade licenses are up to date
Event Coordination: Assist with planning team-building events and activities for the Wider Arcos Team
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role and preferably within the Building/Construction industry
Developed knowledge of general office processes and systems
Microsoft Office applications
Competent in use of office equipment
Essential Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Attributes):
Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
Ability to present and engage in a professional manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Demonstrate initiative and ability to multi-task and possess a "can do" approach
Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
