About your role
We’re looking for a proactive individual to oversee workforce operations across multiple client sites.
In this role, you’ll act as the key point of contact between the labour hire workforce, the client, and our internal coordination team. You'll be responsible for monitoring daily work activities, ensuring WHS compliance and helping maintain performance and productivity standards.
About what you’ll do
o Act as the primary point of contact between the labour hire crew, the client, and the labour hire company.
o Monitor daily work activities to ensure alignment with client expectations and job requirements.
o Ensure all labour hire personnel are inducted into site safety procedures and comply with WHS regulations.
o Conduct regular WHS inspections and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
o Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards in line with both client and company procedures.
o Work with the Labour Hire Coordinator to coordinate rostering changes, attendance tracking, and replacement of staff as required.
o Facilitate communication of client feedback, work priorities, and any changes in scope to the labour hire team.
o Support onboarding and mentoring of new workers to ensure safe and efficient integration into the site.
o Maintain records to satisfy compliance obligations and client requirements, including but not limited to, licenses, training, and PPE requirements.
o Ensure the labour hire workforce reflects agreed levels of productivity and performance.
o Escalate and resolve any workforce or operational issues impacting client satisfaction or safety.
About You / What you’ll bring
o Strong understanding of WHS legislation and safety requirements on an industrial setting
o Experience coordinating teams, especially in the blue-collar/labour hire space
o Understanding of union representation in the workplace and the legal frameworks surrounding Right of Entry (ROE) is highly desirable
o Ability to identify and manage site-level issues relating to safety, performance, or industrial relations
o Willingness to travel to various worksites throughout the Greater Darwin Region
o Excellent communication skills across multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
