What's the role? This Operational Business Analyst role is integral to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations for production. This role involves analysing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies to streamline workflows. The Operational Business Analyst works closely with various functions within the Publishing Operations division to ensure that operational goals are met and that processes align with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Process Optimisation: Analyse existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency. Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis to uncover trends and insights that can drive operational improvements. Performance Monitoring: Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor operational performance and identify areas for enhancement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational processes with business goals. Solution Implementation: Assist in the implementation of process improvements and technology solutions to optimise operations and in turn measure performance Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of operational processes, changes, and improvements. Who are you? Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices. Prior experience in Manufacturing or the FMCG industry is an advantage Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Communication Skills : Effective communication skills to liaise and collaborate with various departments and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operational analysis tools and software. Attention to Detail: Precise documentation and process mapping skills Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and business leaders.
