IMPLEMENTATION & SERVICE TECHNICIAN - WA
We invite a self-motivated, proactive and energetic Communications Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring prompt and effective service and project delivery for our customers, within the Perth Metro and outer suburb regions (and proactive & reactive regional support throughout WA as required – mainly South Coast, Southwest, Gascoyne, and Pilbara).
Reporting to the Project & Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for deploying and servicing our range of solutions, ensuring effective operation of communications equipment or systems, for our clients across Western Australia.
Responsibilities
Develop a robust understanding of our Platform solutions and services, to effectively identify and communicate opportunities to enhance or resolve our customer's needs.
Install, configure and maintain health technology equipment and systems within our customers\' environments.
Manage Audio Visual, Duress, Messaging, Nurse call, Television, Real-Time-Location-Services, and related Extra-Low-Voltage Electronics; IP/MATV Infrastructure and Smart End points; Wired and WiFi networks; Serial and Low-level bus networking; Lidar, BLE, RF, and IR technology-based solutions and integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain continuity in communication services.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities and provide timely reports with risk assessment and recommendations.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate installation projects, upgrades and system expansions within agreed timeframes and budgets.
What is required to apply
A valid driver license
WorkSafe WA - OHS Construction Induction – White/Blue card
A willingness to participate in an estimated 3 week-on-call roster cycle, providing for additional allowances + overtime
