Maintenance Officer – Property Services
In this role, you will undertake all assigned maintenance duties, including work related to general hospital maintenance, planned and reactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Duties may include patching, plastering and painting, lighting maintenance, gutters, air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing and other general repairs.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Positive and effective team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to and work is carried out in a tidy, secure manner.
- Provide a comprehensive maintenance service that complies with legislative standards, corporate policy guidelines and approved hospital budgets.
Additional Responsibilities
- Hold relevant trade qualification or certificate.
- Demonstrate maturity in the workplace, focus on health and safety practices.
- Work on own initiative and identify areas for improvement.
Remuneration
Base hourly rate of $30.11 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (GPH Support Services Level 2.4).
