Your role
Responsibilities
* Writing high-quality industry reports within specified deadlines and in accordance with in-house editorial and quality standards
* Collecting, interpreting, and analysing macroeconomic, demographic, and industry-specific data to identify and clearly communicate key business trends
* Conducting long-term forecasting based on existing industry data
* Performing qualitative research and keeping up-to-date with key economic and industry trends
* Delivering client presentations and gaining public speaking experience
* Contributing to product development initiatives
* Giving interviews to journalists about assigned industries as required
* Performing any other duties as assigned by Industry Team Leaders or the Head of Research
* Reporting to the Head of Research and collaborating with a supportive team
About you
Qualifications
* An undergraduate degree in economics, commerce, business, or a related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to analyse and forecast economic data, demonstrated through previous work experience or university studies
* Familiarity with online research techniques
* A solid grasp of economics, financial terms, and business concepts
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A strong interest in keeping up-to-date with economic news and current events
* Openness to constructive feedback and eagerness to learn and grow in the role
* Confidence to liaise with the media regarding current industry trends
* Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
* Experience writing business research articles, reports, or other key documents for a business audience is an advantage

* Salary: $65,000–$75,000 p.a.
