The Company You'll Join
* This is a privately owned infrastructure business that specialises in concrete remediation, water and wastewater assets, transport infrastructure, and complex civil environments.
* The business has built its reputation on technical credibility, long-term relationships, and its ability to support projects from early specification through to delivery.
* It competes against large global brands but differentiates itself through responsiveness, accessibility, and deep technical support on live projects.
* The organisation operates with a flat structure and a high level of trust, giving experienced professionals the autonomy to run their work without micromanagement.
* Significant emphasis is placed on employing highly experienced technical specialists who support delivery and enable others to succeed in the field.
* The business is in a sustained growth phase and continues to attract experienced industry professionals who want to be part of something being built carefully and deliberately.
The Impact You'll Make
* This role exists to strengthen the business's presence in New South Wales by building early-stage technical influence across major infrastructure projects.
* You will operate as a Technical Engineering Consultant, focused on specification-led, project-based selling rather than transactional or volume-driven sales.
* A core part of the role is engaging engineers early to position compliant, technically sound systems into project specifications.
* Once projects are specified, you will support contractors and applicators through delivery to ensure successful project outcomes.
* You will manage a project-based pipeline made up of mid-sized and large infrastructure works with long lead times, where success is measured by pipeline quality rather than short-term revenue alone.
* The role offers a high level of autonomy and flexibility, allowing it to evolve around your technical background, sector experience, and strengths.
The Experience You'll bring
* You bring a background in civil, structural, geotechnical, remediation, coatings, or water infrastructure that allows you to speak with credibility.
* You are comfortable engaging engineers and contractors in technical discussions and enjoy solving complex, real-world problems.
* You are motivated by building long-term influence and project outcomes rather than chasing short-term sales wins.
