Solid Ground Landscaping is offering an opportunity for a Landscape Maintenance Gardener to join our Sunshine Coast team in Maroochydore and at times in Sippy Downs .
We have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic, reliable and committed horticulturalist, to ensure that our customers are receiving the quality and service outcomes expected.
About the role
As the successful applicant, the Landscape Maintenance Gardener will work within a team across all aspects of garden landscape maintenance including garden upgrades and enhancements.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Mowing using Zero Turn Ride on Mowers (desirable).
* Push Mowing and brush cutting.
* Hedging and pruning.
* Spraying and weeding (pest, disease and weed control).
* Plant installation and mulching where needed.
* Irrigation and fertilizing when required.
* Maintenance of equipment and machinery.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
* Full Australian working rights essential.
* Previous landscape garden maintenance experience essential.
* Physical fitness for working outside in all weather conditions.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A good work ethic focused on delivering quality work.
* Valid Qld driver's licence essential.
* Plant, weed, tree, pest and disease identification knowledge advantageous.
* Horticulture/Parks and Gardens qualification or relevant experience highly desirable.
